Seoul K-Food: Authentic Korean Cuisine and Fresh Sushi in Depoe Bay

Easily the best roll I’ve ever had in my life. The boba was awesome and the orange was very refreshing. The staff were so nice, and the building was very well located, just across the street from the whale watching tower. I really wish I wasn’t just passing through the area so I could come back and try more of their menu.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Melt in your mouth fresh sushi, perfectly flavorful Kimchi, savory brisket … just wonderful. My daughter asked for sauce for her chicken and the cook whipped it up fresh for her. Lovely experience all around.

We ordered takeout on our road trip not expecting much—this was some of the best Korean food I’ve had! The owners and staff are very kind, would recommend. The food also came with soup, rice, and side dishes.

Food was really good! We ordered the Cheese Bul Dak Chicken dish and a Spicy Beef Bulgogi Bento Box. The tempura fried sweet potato in the bento box was the unexpected find for me. The worker (might have even been the owner) was super attentive and gave recommendations. This is now a staple to visit for us on our coast visits. 10/10 recommend anyone to visit!

I’m not sure why Depot Bay randomly had the most authentic Korean food I’ve ever had outside of Korea. If you’ve never been to Korea, you can get the real experience here. The menu has so many amazing options. The haemul pajeon is a fantastic appetizer for the table. They make their own kimchi in house and it’s phenomenal. Try the kimchi jjigae and the dolsot bibimbap!!!!!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE experience here today! The menu is extensive with so many choices yet our group of 5 got everything delivered at the same time & it was piping hot and each plate was FULL of flavor. This town was missing something and this little restaurant fits that niche perfectly! It’s a very small space so expect to wait but it will absolutely be worth it! I think the favorites at our table were the sushi (super fresh), beef short ribs & we mixed spicy beef bulgogi with the bibimbap for some crazy flavor. Plenty of vegetarian options. At this moment they don’t have their liquor license yet but they will eventually have wine, beer & sake. Dennis was an excellent host especially for running the restaurant on his own - you can tell he knows what he’s doing. Also their current hours are 11am - 9:30 pm, not 10-10 like Google currently states. Please go support the crew at Seoul K-Food because I want them to stick around!!

We stopped in for lunch after a whale watching trip, and we were AMAZED. Every bit of food was so delicious and well prepared. Service was excellent, they were so friendly. We will make the drive up from Florence again soon just to have lunch here.

Had the bibimbap and the chicken katsu. The bibimpap is a big portion and can be shared. The beef was flavorful and the sauce that goes with it was the perfect amount of spicy. The chicken katsu was well flavored and crispy! Everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations! The staff was friendly and treated us to a mango smoothie and brought us extra sides without having ask. My favorite side was the kimchi and the cucumbers. I would highly recommend it! We will be back next time we are in town.
